This is the series of follow-up emails to this blog published with minor edits.

I would like to introduce several methods that you may at some point add to your healing protocol of Hashimoto, or to that of your patients. In this I will speak only about things I have myself tested. However, I am in no way implying that other methods do not have value. If truth be told, I have some other methods at the back of my mind which I imagine could be very beneficial, but so far I did not have the time - or the pressing need - to test.

What is important to remember is that all of the methods to be presented are fully complementary in nature, in that they would add to whatever you are doing and not undermine it.

It is necessary that this first part should be of somewhat theoretical and academic flavour, but I will try to keep the shore to the minimum.

As we all know, autoimmune diseases are complex conditions in that they signify dis-balance in the whole system. It is not as if only one program on your computer has gone astray, but as if the whole operational system went "funny", for example erasing your files instead of keeping them.

In recent decades autoimmune disease in general and Hashimoto in particular have increased by hundred of percents. It stands to reason that this is due to environmental and social factors which are likely to get worse.

In Hashimoto the immune system attacks the thyroid gland which in many cases causes hypothyroidism. The accepted treatment is through artificial replacement of missing thyroid hormones. This method does not address the actual cause, that is, the autoimmune process; but the symptoms.

Low level lasers are gaining in popularity as a means of treating Hashimoto. If you Google 'lllt Hashimoto' you will find several interesting articles. For example, 'The preliminary results indicate that LLLT promotes the improvement of thyroid function, as patients experienced a decreased need for LT4, a reduction in TPOAb levels, and an increase in parenchymal echogenicity.' (source)

Here LLLT stands for Low Level Laser Therapy, which - simply speaking - means laser irradiation of power so low that it does not induce heating of the tissue. Such irradiation promotes the fuel production of the cells (ATP) and thus the damaged tissue can restore itself faster.

Note however that most of the recorded LLLT treatments are local: they target thyroid gland. As Hashimoto is systemic disease, coMra Therapy protocol has great advantage here.

Also, LLLT has a number of unresolved issues concerning the exact parameters to be used.

coMra Therapy is the next generation compared to LLLT. It combines in coherent manner several radiances:

  •  infrared laser;
  •  LED lights;
  •  magnet;
  •  ultrasound.

These are made to act in rhythmic and coherent manner, so that their combined effect is multiplied by synchronization. What is important to know in practice is that the output power of the radiances in coMra Therapy is much lower than that in LLLT and, therefore, coMra Therapy is safe for home use: it will do no harm.

While the laser provides the energetic stimulus, LEDs set the emotional mood for healing, magnet aligns the tissue and the ultrasound prompts faster recovery. Again, the magnet and the ultrasound and incomparability weaker than those of the devises used in physiotherapy.

Another feature of coMra Therapy is that it puts in motion chemical signaling between cells and thus restores systematic action of the body. It also clears up the communication channels. Obviously, these are of prime importance in case of Hashimoto.

Just to make one point clear: coMra Therapy is more than 90% based on the knowledge of anatomy as gained in the Western World and unlike some previous Russian devices it does not mix this modality with acupuncture. There are some acupuncture treatments (not the one for Hashimoto) but those are acupuncture only.

Thank you for reading up to here and should you have any questions I will find a way to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Just write me question in the comments.
